Fall Foods

These foods support your body best during fall:

 

Brown rice

Ginger and garlic

Apples and pears

Veggies like: cabbage, cauliflower, celery, cucumber, daikon radish, leeks, yellow onions, shallots, kohlrabi, turnips

Dark leafy greens like collard watercress and kale

Root veggies like carrots, parsnips, and burdock root

Spices like cardamom, cinnamon, coriander, fennel, nutmeg, pepper, thyme

Fish like cod, flounder, halibut, scrod

Animal protein like turkey and beef

Plant protein like tofu and tempeh

Sea veggies like, hijiki and wakame

Miso soup
